Dear GBWA members,
We find ourselves in extraordinary times that require us to gather in ways that are outside of the norm. Times like these show us that our physical gatherings are rich blessings that carry us along and encourage us to serve Christ in every circumstance. While COVID-19 continues to be a threat we must take certain precautions that will inevitably hinder us from physical gatherings for a time, but we intend through various means (listed below) to continue to have virtual gatherings. It is our prayer that these gatherings also be a rich blessing to you; that we continue to let God’s Word be our guiding light in all of life; that we continue to spur one another on in holiness and mission; that we continue to marvel at God’s glory in the Church and in the world.
Here is our plan for gatherings:
Sunday Gathering 10:45am:
– The gathering will be held at 10:45 right here on this page in webcast form. just click the broadcast below at the appointed time.
– We encourage every member to continue to practice regular, cheerful, and sacrificial giving before or after this gathering. You can give by clicking here or follow the button at the bottom of the page.
Mid-Week Gathering – 6:00pm:
– The Bible study will be held at 6:00pm through Zoom. We will continue to strive for discussion, question and answer time, to pray for our fellow brothers and sisters needs, and to pray for the those we’re sharing Christ with. It will also be a good time to hear from one another about what unique ideas we could be doing to invest in our neighbors and family.
– At scheduled times, members can participate in regular and special members’ meetings at the following link:
Brothers and sisters, we will be in contact with you for various announcements and updates more than usual. We have a couple requests: Please stay tuned to your email, Realm, and the church Facebook page for updates, resources, missional ideas, prayer requests, and encouragements. Please remember that your church directory gives you vital information to stay connected with your fellow church members. Please go above and beyond to check in on your faith-family. Please give and support ongoing ministry at Grace. Please check in with your deacons to see how you can minister to needs in the church at this time.
Grace Baptist, we love you. We’re praying for you. And we look forward to how each one of us will be conformed into Christ through these unique circumstances. Remember this church: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:4-7
Peace be with you all.
