Leadership bios

D. Ross Smith is married to Sarah.  Together they have two daughters: Autumn and Edith.  The Smith family consider themselves a missionary unit to West Asheville who seek the salvation of their friends, family, and neighbors.  In 2018 Ross took his first pastorate and came to serve GBWA as the Pastor of Worship and Families.  In 2023 Ross became a lay pastor at Grace and by God’s preservation is committed to serve Christ’s Church, for a lifetime, teaching God’s Word.
