Leadership bios

Pastor Ben has been a Pastor at Grace Baptist West Asheville since 2022. He married his wife Kgao in 2021, and has a daughter Amelia.  In addition to serving as a pastor, he works from home full time as a Software Engineer.  

Pastor Ben grew up in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.  He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Tennessee Technological University where he was active in Campus Outreach and was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.  After college, he got a job in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and was a member of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.  In 2018, he met his wife on a mission trip in Greece.  In 2019, he moved to South Africa to live near his wife.  In 2021, they came to the US, got married in Bristol, Tennessee, and moved to the Asheville area. Pastor Ben enjoys hiking, photography, and soccer.
